Quick answer: If you only have one, or a few, addresses you need to geocode, you have a couple of different options for converting them to latitude/longitude with Geocodio. (You can also convert hundreds, thousands, or even millions with Geocodio!)
With the Try tool below, you can input a single address and select which data enrichments you need, if any. You can use it further down on this page.
You can also use it here, which may be preferable for bookmarking since you won't have to scroll down.
If you have a handful of addresses, but not a full list, it may be easier to use the Upload tool.
Via the Upload tool, you have the option to upload a spreadsheet, or paste in rows. You can use this even if your addresses didn't come from a spreadsheet originally.
Click "paste"
Type in a header, such as "address"
Type/copy-paste in the addresses
You can also use Geocodio's API to geocode a single address.
This endpoint is useful when you're geocoding addresses in real time. For example, if people are filling out a form on your website, you might want to use the single-address endpoint. If you have more than one address at a time, you should use our batch options (lists or batch).
If you are geocoding single addresses one-off, it may be easiest to create a link in your browser with your API key and bookmark it.
