Geocodio Unlimited gives you a dedicated, private instance of the Geocodio platform.
The base subscription includes one instance and the hardware is capable of processing about 5 million lookups per day (~200,000 per hour) when optimized with batch processing. We recommend running 3-4 simultaneous batches of up to 10,000 lookups each.
When using spreadsheet uploads, spreadsheets can be up to 1 GB each.
For example, if you need to process 1 million addresses + Census FIPS codes + Census demographics per day, this would be 3 million lookups per day.
There is no rate limiting, so you do need to be mindful of your processing volumes. If you need to process more than 5 million per day, you can add additional instances for an additional fee.
The processing power scales linearly, so if you have 2 instances, you will be able to process 10 million lookups per day (~400,000 per hour) and 6-8 concurrent batch API requests are recommended.
By default, Standard Unlimited is a monthly subscription with no commitment required. You can also switch to an annual plan and receive a 5% discount.
If you only want to use it for one month, that's fine. You would simply downgrade right after upgrading, which retains your access for the full 30 days but turns off auto-renewal. You can downgrade from the dashboard.
Please note, if your Legal or Procurement departments require custom Terms, you'll need to be on an annual plan.
Enterprise Unlimited can be month-to-month or annual.
Both the Standard and Enterprise versions of Geocodio Unlimited have the same functionality in terms of processing power. However, from an infrastructure and data handling perspective, they are entirely separate. Standard Unlimited is hosted in Germany, and Enterprise Unlimited is hosted in the US (with a choice between East or West coast).
The key difference is whether your organization requires heightened security compliance, such as SOC 2 or HIPAA/HITECH compliance. If your organization requires a security review or compliance with either of the aforementioned frameworks, you'll need to use Enterprise Unlimited. Enterprise Unlimited was specifically rebuilt from the ground up to meet enterprise security requirements.
